Grading & Assignments
7th Grade Computer Applications consists is a series of lessons and projects. Students are expected to complete projects in a timely manner and turn them in on time following established classroom guidelines.
Students should check the agenda for the day'assignments, even on days you are absent. While there is general no homework assigned, students may need to spend time outside of class to complete an assignment or project. If internet access is not available at home, students may complete the work in one of the computer labs before or after school.
Missing work or assignments with low grades (below C) can be completed or corrected and turned in for regrading by placing them in the Redo folder in my drop box. Work over one week late will be graded, but reduced by ten percentage points.
Quizzes with available practice tests, such as BrainPOP and Microsoft Office tutorials, are not available for retakes since students are given the opportunity to study and practice for these quizzes at their own pace before taking them.
I am available in Room 76 before school, during one lunch period per week, and after school for students who wish to come in and work on assignments. The library computer lab is also open from 7:30-3:45 daily. Most assignments can be completed on any computer with an internet connection.
Follow the Acceptable Use Policy for computer use.
