Review & Geography

1. Keyboard practice at freetypinggame.net. Choose Test #26 Classic Tales. Set the time at the bottom of the window to 5 minutes. Focus on posture and finger placement. We will have our end of quarter 1 Keyboarding Test on Block Day next week. You will be graded on posture and speed. The speed goal at this point is 10 words per minute (wpm) at 95% accuracy.
2. Finish anything you need to complete on your Rome Poem. We will print them on Monday.
   
3. Retake any Ignition quiz that you want to earn a better score. You will find in the updated version new floating balloons. One of them is titled Post Check. Go there to retake a quiz. You may want to review  other balloons' material before you retake the quiz. Your block day of next week is the final day to redo any work for an improved grade.
4. Refer to the Middle East Map assignment from core class. Look at the locations listed there on Google Earth (search in your Start Menu) and/or Confluence.org. Be certain to look at: Mecca, the Ka' aba in Mecca, Medina, Cholistan Desert (Pakistan), and Jerusalem. Do you know where to find the Red Sea, the Arabian Peninsula, the Black Sea?
