Animation

Objectives:
  • Draw two and three dimensional geometric shapes using a variety of technology tools. 
  • Explain and demonstrate how specialized technology tools can be used for problem solving, decision making, and creativity in all subject areas (e.g., simulation software,  computer aided design,). ​
April 28 (Friday) is the deadline to apply to be a WEB Leader. Please complete your application today. You can read about WEB at Computech here.
Today begin a short unit on computer animation. This is a self paced program supported by Disney on Khan Academy called Pixar in a Box. Use this link to get you to the starting point.
When you finish the Save Your Animation step at the bottom, use the Google Classroom button to turn it in to my Classroom page.

  • Click here to access the list of Website Evaluations. Do a search for your name in the Website Creator's column to find any evaluations of your site by other students.
  • Use this information to improve your website.
  • If a classmate near you has no online evaluation, take a few moments to use last Friday's evaluation questions to give them some feedback. Mr. Armstrong can then move your evaluation to the shared page for viewing.

  1. Click on this link to access the list of student websites. Look for the link to your website; notice that there are tabs at the bottom for each class period. If your URL isn't there, turn it in here. 
  2. Evaluate two other students' websites using this form. The websites that you choose to evaluate do not have to be from your class period. Completion of the evaluation form will be a graded assignment. Your evaluation of the other students' website does not affect his or her grade, but your participation in the evaluation process is your grade.​ Evaluations are due today
  3. After evaluating other websites, return to your website and make improvements or changes as needed.

ASB Election

Objective:
Participate in the democratic process by casting an informed vote in the Associated Student Body election of student body officers.
Go to the Candidate Statements page.
  • Make it fill one half of the width of your screen. Read each candidates statement. Thoughtfully consider which candidate will make the best person to represent you on next year's ASB Student Council and  School Site Council.
Open the Ballot.
  • After thoughtful reading and consideration, select the name of the person you wish to see represent you in each of the offices.
Officers will be announced when we return from Spring Break. Candidates must take down all posters before leaving campus today.
